What They Say About Us

Verified Reviews

Experiences of those who chose Volume 2 for their children and their classes.

"The multimeter changed everything. The kids no longer just assemble circuits; now they measure, calculate, and verify. The scientific method truly applied. Volume 2 is a huge leap forward."

Prof. Anna C.

Technology Teacher, Middle School – Turin

"My son built the walking robot and hasn't stopped showing it off to everyone! After Volume 1, he couldn't wait to continue. The quality of the components is excellent; the multimeter is a real professional tool."

Marco P.

Parent – Bologna

"Transistors and capacitors seemed impossible topics for middle school. With ELAB, the children understood them by building real circuits. The progression from Volume 1 to 2 is perfectly calibrated."

Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Have Any Doubts?

Find answers to the most common questions about the ELAB Volume 2 kit.

Is it necessary to complete Volume 1 first?

It is recommended but not mandatory. Volume 2 reviews and expands upon the concepts from Volume 1 (Ohm's Law, resistors, LEDs, breadboards). Those who already have a basic understanding of electronics can start directly with Volume 2. For an optimal learning path, we recommend starting with Volume 1.

What does the multimeter include?

The kit includes a complete digital multimeter with red and black probes and alligator clips for a stable connection. The multimeter measures DC voltage, current, resistance, and continuity. The 9V battery for the multimeter is not included for transport safety reasons.

What age is Volume 2 suitable for?

Volume 2 is designed for children aged 11 to 14 (second and third year of middle school). The manual uses clear language with analogies and illustrations. It can also be used by beginner adults who want to learn more about electronics.

Is the battery included in the kit?

The kit includes the 9V battery clip with header. 9V batteries (one for the circuits, one for the multimeter) are not included for transport safety reasons, but can be easily found in any supermarket or electronics store.

Is it safe for kids?

Yes, the kit is CE certified and operates at low voltage (9V). It requires no soldering, and all activities are designed to be safe and repeatable. The motors and transistors are used under completely safe conditions.

Can I use it at school? How many kits are needed per class?

Absolutely! ELAB was created for school use. The recommended structure is 1 kit for every 3-4 students. Lessons can be organized into 45-60 minute modules. Volume 2 is designed for the second year of the three-year STEM program.

What can I build with Volume 2?

With Volume 2, you will build circuits with capacitors (timers), transistor-controlled systems, light sensor circuits, and, as a final project, a dual-motor walking robot that follows light. Each chapter includes hands-on, step-by-step experiments.

What are the shipping times?

The kit is shipped within 24 hours of the order and delivered within 3 working days throughout Italy. You will receive a tracking code via email to follow the shipment.

Can I return the product?

Certainly. We offer free returns within 30 days of purchase. If the product does not meet your expectations, we will refund the full amount, no questions asked.
